AUSTRALIAN REGION SUMMARY AND FORECAST

      Near predicted monthly values during local day,
      Depressed by 15% during local night.
   Northern Australian Region:
      Near predicted monthly values during local day,
      Enhanced by 20% during local night.
      Enhanced by 15% after local dawn.
   Southern Australian and New Zealand Region:
      Mostly near predicted monthly values,
      Depressed by 35% after local dawn.
   Antarctic Region (Casey/Scott Base):
      Enhanced 15% to depressed 15% and absorption over the UT day.

COMMENT: IPS HF Communications Warning 24 was issued on 12 April 
and is current for interval 14-16 April. Shortwave fadeouts possible 
on daylight HF circuits. Enhanced proton fluxes associated with 
both M7.9 and X2.3 flares from region 9415 on 9 Apr and 10 Apr 
are subsiding. Degraded propagation conditions are expected due 
to favorably located CME's associated with flares M2.3 1326UT/11 
and an X2.0 1028UT/12.
