UTC until 0700 UTC.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>The aurora
covered an area from the western horizon to the eastern horizon (facing
north).<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>A few of the Big Dipper
Stars were visible. <SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>The rays of the
aurora extended toward the zenith partially obscuring the Pleiades
constellation.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>The aurora display
consisted of Homogeneous Arcs, as well as Rays and Rayed Arcs.<SPAN
style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>The colors of the aurora were mostly
white with a touch of faint green.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes">
</SPAN>There was a considerable amount of movement in the Rays themselves.<SPAN
