<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>Could it be? About 50 folks on a church
retreat were skywatching Saturday, Sept 7 on Kerr Lake on the border of Virginia
and North Carolina. About 9:30-10:00pm several of us noticed a brightening
of the northern sky. We saw what looked like the ray of a spotlight,
followed by several more rays. That's when we began to mention what we
were noticing to one another. As we continued to watch, the rays began to
become numerous and turned green. The rays or streaks diminished and the
sky looked red. This happened about 3 times over the half hour or so that
we watched. It was a beautiful night with no moonlight to hide the stars
from our view. And then such a treat from the sun.
Wow!</FONT></DIV></BODY></HTML>
