I think you may mean Launceston, Tasmania.

We were in Iceland and saw a wonderful one FINALLY, after chasing it in
Norway and Alaska last year. It was on February 20th. It was the first one
they had seen since Mid-December, they told us at the Aurora centre in
Reykjavik and that night, 2,000 people left Reykjavik to view it. they/we
were not disappointed as it was a beauty. Last  several hours while we
slowly froze to death:(
