[Ips-aurora-sightings] Report of Aurora observation

I observed the aurora last night, the 29th June 2013, whilst driving on the Marlborough Hwy between Miena and Bronte Park at approximately 19:40. I was surprised to see it so far north, but with little to zero light pollution it was quite spectacular. A glowing horizon with beams of green to white light which appeared to move and break across the southern sky.
