Aurora observed from Devonport, Tasmania observation time: 21:30 - 22:00 EST (1130 - 1200 UTC), 24th August 2005. Greenish glow extending from SE to SW horizon with a strong band through the mid section, brighter in the SW area. Very faint "beams" observed in the SW and SW. Regards, -- tasmail
