SUBJ: SWS AURORA WATCH
ISSUED AT 1208 UT ON 31 Aug 2019 by Space Weather Services
FROM THE AUSTRALIAN SPACE FORECAST CENTRE

The earth is currently under the influence of very high solar wind
speed emanating from a positive polarity coronal hole. The geomagnetic
condition are currently at minor storm level. If the solar magnetic
conditions continue to stay southward, geomagnetic conditions could
even reach major storm level. The auroral may be visible tonight (31
August) and tomorrow night (1 September) from Tasmania, southern
Victoria and Perth.
