SUBJ: SWS AURORA WATCH
ISSUED AT 0243 UT ON 07 Apr 2019 by Space Weather Services
FROM THE AUSTRALIAN SPACE FORECAST CENTRE

The solar wind has been elevated over the last few days under the
influence of high speed solar wind streams from a group of small
negative polarity coronal holes that crossed the suns central meridian
between 03Apr-05Apr. There is a small chance of Aurora sightings from
southernmost Australian regions (Tasmania/Sth Vic) should
Moderate-Strong solar wind speeds, favourable viewing conditions and
prolonged southward Bz (<-5nT) conditions eventuate. Aurora alerts
will follow if significant geomagnetic activity actually occurs.
