SUBJ: SWS AURORA WATCH
ISSUED AT 0051 UT ON 24 Apr 2017 by Space Weather Services
FROM THE AUSTRALIAN SPACE FORECAST CENTRE

The Earth is currently under the influence of the very high speed
solar wind stream associated with the recurrent coronal hole. As a
result, the geomagnetic conditions at Earth can reach minor storm
levels today with a chance for isolated major storm levels. Auroras
may be visible tonight (24 April) in Tasmania and possibly from the
coastline of Victoria. Aurora alerts will follow should favourable
