SUBJ: SWS AURORA WATCH
ISSUED AT 2312 UT ON 18 Sep 2016 by Space Weather Services
FROM THE AUSTRALIAN SPACE FORECAST CENTRE

Coronal Hole 761 is expected to become geoeffective today, 19
September UT. A minor geomagnetic storm occurred when CH 761 became
geoeffective during the previous solar rotation. A minor geomagnetic
storm (Kp=5) is possible during 19-20 September.

Any auroras visible from Tasmania are likely to be modest. There is
also a bright waning gibbous moon.
