SUBJ: IPS AURORA WATCH
ISSUED AT 0231 UT ON 14 May 2016 BY IPS RADIO AND SPACE SERVICES
FROM THE AUSTRALIAN SPACE FORECAST CENTRE

The solar winds are expected to gradually increase starting on late UT
day 15 May in response to a large positive polarity northern
hemisphere coronal hole moving into a geoeffective location on
the solar disk. The geomagnetic conditions on the 15-16 May could at
times reach minor storm levels. The aurora may be visible from as low
as some parts of the state of Victoria, Australia, on the local night
of 15-16 May.
