SUBJ: IPS AURORA WATCH
ISSUED AT 2324 UT ON 01 Apr 2016 BY IPS RADIO AND SPACE SERVICES
FROM THE AUSTRALIAN SPACE FORECAST CENTRE

A minor geomagnetic storm (G1) is likely during 2-3 April. Conditions
may briefly reach the G2 level. Auroras may become visible low on the
southern horizon from Tasmania tonight, 2 Apr. The moon is a waning
crescent and should not interfere with observations until the early
morning hours. Aurora alerts will follow should favourable space
weather activity eventuate.
