Dear fellow INAG members,<br>

Please be aware of a planned shutdown of the Lowell Digital Ionogram

Database (DIDBase) for 5 days from Monday August 29 to September 3,

2010. During this period, SAO Explorer stations will not be able to

connect to the DIDBase. We plan to upgrade our server hardware in order

to accommodate more data. Currently DIDBase holds ~11 million ionograms

with their autoscaling records, as well as 704,299 (as of 2010.08.10)

manually validated/edited scalings. <br>

Incidentally, if you have manually validated scalings of *digisonde*

ionograms NOT YET in the DIDBase, please consider donating them to our

posterity. They will be treated as the expert-derived records of the

"ground truth" ionospheric specification, with the scaler

name/affiliation and timestamp recorded with each

submission.. Thank you.<br>
